President Barack Obama and United States Department of Commerce Secretary Gary Locke named AtlantiCare a winner of the 2009 Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.
It is the nation’s highest presidential honor awarded to organizations for quality and organizational performance excellence.
Part of our responsibility in becoming a Baldrige Award winner is to share our performance excellence strategies with other organizations. We look forward to serving as mentors and role models for those who wish to learn about the Baldrige process and why, at this point in American history, a commitment to quality is imperative in the healthcare industry.
