Shared Governance at ARMC empowers nurses at all levels of the organization to work collaboratively in analyzing and designing structures and processes that promote accountability and ownership in the provision of quality care, a safe caring work environment, and staff and customer satisfaction.

Unit Based Nursing Forums

Through unit based forums nurses along with members of the unit based healthcare delivery teams are encouraged to monitor and provide input regarding unit operations and clinical issues. We utilize “Champion” roles to assist with education, safety, and quality initiatives.

Nursing Council Structure

Nursing Councils provide forums to share expertise across clinical disciplines to enhance patient care outcomes, maximize resources, coordinate efforts and improve communication. Committees provide platforms for teams to work on specific projects, quality initiatives, and opportunities for improvement. Committees provide ongoing progress reports through the Nursing Council structure.
