Nasser E. Borai, MD, is Director of the Division of Hematology and Oncology at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center and Director of ARMC’s Hospice Program. In addition, Dr. Borai works in private practice at the Cancer and Blood Disorders Care Center in Galloway, NJ, and serves as Medical Director of the Ruth Newman Shapiro Cancer Center. He also serves on the faculty in ARMC’s Department of Medicine. An honors graduate of Cairo University Medical School, Dr. Borai served as a Clinical Research Assistant with Naval America Medical Research Unit #3 in Cairo after completing his internship at Cairo University Hospital. He concluded master’s training in pediatric medicine at Children’s Hospital in Cairo before embarking on an internal medicine externship at Atlantic City Medical Center, where he later became Chief Medical Resident. Dr. Borai competed a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at Boston University before entering private practice. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and is board certified in internal medicine, oncology and hematology. Back to top

| Jorge F. Cassir, MD |
Jorge F. Cassir, MD, brings more than 35 years experience to his roles as Director of Radiation Oncology at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, Director of Radiation Oncology at Shore Memorial Hospital, and Director of Radiation Oncology at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. He has also served as Acting Medical Director of Oncology Services at RNS Regional Medical Center. Before joining ARMC, Dr. Cassir was Assistant Clinical Radiation Therapist at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, and Assistant Attending Radiologist (and Assistant Professor of Radiology) at New York Cornell Medical Center. He earned his medical degree from the Universidad del Valle School of Medicine in Cali, Colombia and completed his residency in medicine at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse. He completed a second residency and a special fellowship in radiation therapy at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Cassir is certified in therapeutic radiation by the American College of Radiology, of which he is a member. He is also a member of the American Medical Association, the American Society of Therapeutic Radiation and Oncology, the Radiological Society of New Jersey, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the New Jersey Medical Society, the Medical Society of Atlantic County. He currently is Clinical Assistant Professor of Radiation Therapy and Nuclear Medicine at Jefferson Medical College. Dr. Cassir is principal investigator at ARMC for the Jefferson Oncology Group, the Radiation Therapy Oncology Group, and the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group. His work has been published inn the International Journal of Radiation Oncology, Biology, Physics.

| Julianne Wilkins Childs, DO, FACOI |
Julianne Wilkins Childs, DO, FACOI, is a medical oncologist on staff at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital and Shore Memorial Hospital, and also works in private practice. Dr. Childs received her medical degree from the University of health Sciences in Kansas City, Missouri and completed her internship at Seminole Community Medical Center in Seminole, Florida. During her postdoctoral training, Dr. Childs completed a surgical residency at Delaware Valley Medical Center and an internal medicine residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. There she also completed a Fellowship in hematology/oncology. Dr. Childs also completed fellowship training rotations radiation oncology, bone marrow transplantation, and medical oncology at Hahnemann University Hospital, Fox Chase Cancer Center, Cooper University Hospital and Jefferson University Hospital. She is board certified in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology, and is a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists. Dr. Childs is a Clinical Instructor in hematology at the UMDNJ School of Osteopathic Medicine. She has published articles in peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of the American Osteopathic Association, and has lectured on such topics as breast cancer prevention, bioethics, pain management, non-small cell lung cancer and much more. Dr. Childs is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, and the Oncology Physicians Network, among others. She has served as a principal investigator for many clinical trials.

Hemang U. Dave, MBBS, is a medical oncologist affiliated with AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital and Shore Memorial Hospital; he also maintains a private practice. Dr. Dave earned his bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery degrees at B.J. Medical College, Ahmedabad in Gujarat, India. After completing his internship at Civil Hospital, Gujarat University, Dr. Dave completed his internal medicine residency at Kings Brook Jewish Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, where he was chief resident. He completed a hematology/oncology fellowship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ, and participated in rotation in blood stem cell transplantation, hematopathology, radiation oncology and hematology at the Cancer Institute of New Jersey at UMDNJ, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and Saint Peter Medical Center. Board certified in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology, Dr. Dave is a Clinical Instructor of hematology at UMDNJ. He has lectured frequently and is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American College of Physicians, and the American Society of Hematology. He has participated in clinical trials measuring the effectiveness of drugs in treating and preventing breast cancer, among others.

Sandra L. Hollander, MA, MD, FACP is board certified in both hematology and oncology and has an MA in Experimental Pathology. She was formerly Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine, Division of Hematology/Oncology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ. Dr. Hollander was the Director for the Division of Hematology and Oncology at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center. She was named one of New Jersey's Top Doctors by New Jersey Monthly in 2001 and appears in the Consumer Research Council of America's Guide to Top Physicians. Though her practice of clinical medicine has afforded her the award of FACP, she maintains her dedication to both community service and academic medicine. She has numerous publications to her credit with the most recent appearing in the Journal of Clinical Oncology, v22/1, 2004; "Hodgkin's Disease of the Nasopharynx." Dr. Hollander is an artist who also enjoys crafts, swimming, dancing and bicycling.
