The AtlantiCare Foundation

The goal of the AtlantiCare foundation is to contribute to AtlantiCare's mission to provide quality health services to the community through a comprehensive development and fundraising plan that enhances and constantly improves the health system's services.

The Foundation also works in partnership with school groups, businesses, and government leaders to strengthen the community's capacity to provide for strong and healthy neighborhoods. It has taken a lead role in initiatives that combat teen pregnancy, gang violence, and the promotion of early childhood health and development.

Two federal Weed and Seed sites have been established as a direct result of the Foundation's ability to bring diverse communities together for a common good. The Foundation is in the forefront of improving community health by working with the Heart Institute to promote healthy lifestyles among those at greatest risk of heart disease, particularly the community's minority residents.

We are also actively involved in enhancing the AtlantiCare's services in Women's Health and Maternal and Newborn services. Through its extensive community collaborations, the Foundation remains committed to promoting health and wellness in the region.
