iCare Family Giving Program
The iCare Family Giving Program is AtlantiCare’s employee giving campaign which supports some of AtlantiCare’s special programs and services that make a difference in our community. Since 2008, AtlantiCare staff members have together contributed over $71,000 to offer care and comfort to some of our community’s most vulnerable, such as children and teens, those facing end of life, and even AtlantiCare co-workers experiencing catastrophic situations. We are so grateful to the AtlantiCare family for its support and proud of its commitment to building healthy communities.
The following AtlantiCare programs and services have benefitted from the generosity of the AtlantiCare family through the iCare campaign:
AtlantiCare Hospice and Palliative Care
Donations to our Hospice program help provide quality, compassionate end-of-life care to patients and their families. Hospice patients are cared for by a multi-disciplinary team of caregivers. In addition, Hospice provides medications, supplies and other services to help keep the patient comfortable, both physically and emotionally.

They recommended and implemented numerous changes in her medical, physical and emotional treatment program which brought my mother, and our family, a great deal of relief at that difficult time.”

AtlantiCare Behavioral Health Child & Adolescent Outpatient Services
Donations to this program helps ABH provide behavioral healthcare to children and adolescents in our region who cannot currently afford treatment.
“One of our clients is a 14-year-old young man with a very sad history of multiple failed adoptions, severe abuse and no personal connections to anyone...until we placed him with his foster mother, Mrs. B. Through ongoing counseling and a loving home, his life has turned around. Now he regularly makes the honor roll in school and just recently was able to return to regular school from an alternative school. We are so proud of him and, even better, he is proud of himself.”

Healthy Schools, Healthy Children
Contributions to this program help AtlantiCare work with local schools to promote healthy eating, exercise, and positive body image. Participating schools receive educational and financial resources to enhance their efforts to engage their students, staff, and the families they serve in opportunities for physical activity and healthier eating.

Starfish Fund
The Starfish Fund was established by staff, for staff. Donations to this fund go to help AtlantiCare staff members experiencing catastrophic situations. This special fund is a testament to the generosity and concern the AtlantiCare family has for one another.
“I was diagnosed with cancer last year and had to be out of work for quite a while. On top of my devastating illness, I also had the stress and worry of how I was going to feed my family and keep up with my bills. I could not have made it through the year without the kindness and generosity of those who donate to the Starfish Fund. Now that I’m back on my feet, I’m going to “pay it forward” and donate to the Starfish Fund myself to help someone else get through a difficult time.”

AtlantiCare Foundation’s Greatest Need Fund
Donations to the Foundation’s Greatest Need Fund go to support the programs and services of AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center that need funding the most.
