Our Joseph C. Shaner School preschool students are excited about the plants that are growing in their classroom water garden. Their fish named “Sparkle Fish” is helping to grow wheat grass and radish sprouts. The plants are growing right before their eyes every day. Mr. Trackman, our Supervisor of Food Services, will be coming soon to make yummy smoothies with the wheat grass. Mrs. James’ students take great care of “Sparkle Fish”. Thank you, AtlantiCare for bringing “Sparkle Fish” to our classroom!
On Wednesday, April 6, 2016, Mr. Trackman made wheat grass smoothies for our preschool students. The students thought they were YUMMY! Healthy eating is awesome. Thank you Mr. Trackman!
