It takes more than medicine to create a healthy community. Serene art pieces, calming colors, natural light and soothing sounds can soften the high-tech healthcare setting and support the healing process.

That's why AtlantiCare incoporated the healing arts into the new Center for Childbirth and Emergency Department at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's Mainland Camps in 2005. We are pleased to continue our commitment to the healing arts at the magnificent new George F. Lynn Harmony Pavillion at ARMC's Atlantic City Campus.

In addition to creating a relaxing visual and auditory experience for our patients and visitors, AtlantiCare's healing arts program gives local artists an opportunity to share their unique talents and cultures. The work of more than 60 local artists, in fact, is showcased in the Harmony Pavillion. The 478 exquisite art pieces demonstrate that not only is southern
New Jersey home to world-class healthcare, it is home to world-class artists as well.

Numerous studies also show that clinical outcomes can be enhanced by incorporating the healing arts in the clinical environment.

On your tour you will enjoy images created in a wide variety of mediums, both
two-dimensional and trhee-dimensional, including limited edition prints, giclee prints, murals, mixed media art, mosiacs, creamincs, sculpture, fabric art, collages, fountains/water walls and photography.

Music in the Air

As part of designing the healing environment for patients,
visitors and staff, ARMC is embarking on a program of therapeutic sound

This new prescriptive music program
uses a blended design of light classical, smooth jass, ambient,
and world music to provide an atmosphere
of energized relaxation.
