These pediatricians have immediate access to duPont pediatric specialists for phone consultations. Any pediatrician can refer children to the AtlantiCare/duPont Children's Health Program for specialized care and treatment.

Hospital Care

AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's family-centered pediatric unit, the Stanley M. Grossman Children's Center, is located in our Mainland Campus in Pomona. Brightly decorated and child-friendly, this is a pleasant place for children to recuperate from illnesses and injuries that require hospitalization.

Pediatricians from the duPont Hospital are in-house at Mainland 24 hours a day, seven days a week to care for children in the pediatric unit when their primary pediatricians are unavailable. These "hospitalists" are also available to assist with pediatric emergencies and newborn examinations.

Specialty Care Center

The AtlantiCare/duPont Children's Health Program features a new pediatric specialty care center in the AtlantiCare Health Park in Egg Harbor Township. Pediatric specialists from the duPont Hospital are available here for both initial consultations and follow-up visits. Pediatric subspecialties available at the Health Park include: cardiology, gastroenterology, hematology, neonatology, nephrology, pulmonology, neurology, orthopedics and endocrinology.

Pediatric Same-Day Surgery

The Surgery Center features an anesthesiologist specializing in pediatrics, medical equipment made just for children, and a special family waiting area.
