Infectious Disease Associates (IDA) was first established in July of 1989. The intention was to meet the growing need for primary healthcare required by the HIV-infected population in the area. The expansion of practice hours and hours by appointment provide a private, rather than clinic, atmosphere. This multifaceted program has responded to a community in need and has proven to be a significant benefit to the communities we serve.

IDA is the only hospital-based program of its kind in the region. We specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of HIV/AIDS.

Our services include:

primary medical and specialty care for HIV patients

wound care

endocrinology services on site

treatment adheence/compliance

nutritional counseling

comprehensive case management

social work services

mental health counseling

HIV education and referrals

bilingual staff

support groups on site

IDA is funded by the Ryan White Care Act Title II and Title II of the Nj Department of Health and Senior Services, Division of AIDS Prevention and Control. We serve Atlantic and Cape May counties.
