AtlantiCare Lifeline
How Lifeline Works
1.
It starts with the push of a button.
2.
"Hello, Mrs. Brandt, this is Bill from AtlantiCare Lifeline. Do you need help?"
3.
"Yes, yes . . . I've slipped in my kitchen!"
4.
"I'll call your neighbor Helen and send her right over. Now just try to relax."
5.
"Mrs. Watson, this is AtlantiCare Lifeline. Your neighbor Mrs. Brandt fell in her kitchen and she's a little shaken."
6.
"I'll run right over. I've got her key right here."
7.
A few moments later.
"Mrs. Watson, this is Bill from AtlantiCare Lifeline. How is Mrs. Brandt doing?"
8.
"She can't put any pressure on her hip, so I'm afraid to move her. You better call an ambulance."
9.
"I'll call now. Could you press the button to signal us when they arrive?"
10.
"They're taking her to the hospital right now. I'll lock up the house and look after her cat."
11.
"Thanks Mrs. Watson. I'll call her daughter Carol."
12.
"Carol Rossi."
13.
"Hi, Mrs. Rossi. This is Bill from AtlantiCare Lifeline. Your mother fell in the kitchen and . . . "
14.
"Is she all right? What happened?"
15.
"We called an ambulance and they said she was fine."
16.
"They brought her to the hospital just to be safe."
17.
"I'll give them a call."
18.
"And don't worry about her cat, She's with Mrs. Watson."
19.
"Thanks so much."
