The Trauma Center - Saved by the Belt
The Trauma Center at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center works closely with NJ Division of Highway Traffic Safety & The South Jersey Traffic Safety Alliance (SJTSA) to enhance traffic safety. The "SAVED BY THE SEAT BELT CLUB" is a NJ Division of Highway Traffic Safety program that the SJTSA institutes region wide. By inducting new members, the Alliance gives seat belt survivors an opportunity to share their story about how they were saved by the seat belt, in the hopes of promoting seat belt use. Those interested in taking their story on the road may be invited to attend press conferences, award ceremonies and other activities to publicize their lifesaving experience. Staff members and their families are welcome to send in applications, which may also be given to patients and visitors.
If you or someone you know has avoided serious injuries or maybe even death and are willing to let your story help others, send in an application. Complete this easy form http://www.sjtsa.org/clubform.pdf and fax to the Trauma Center at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center at 609-441-8178. For additional information call Trauma Education at 609-441-2165. Celebrate doing the right thing!
