Dr. Dralle is certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. Dr. Dralle earned his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine. He completed his internship, residency and cardiothoracic fellowship at the New York University Medical Center.

Howard Levite, MD

Dr. Levite graduated from Yale University in 1976 and attended Washington University School of Medicine. He completed his cardiology fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center in 1986 and finished his cardiac catheterization and angioplasty fellowships at New York University Medical Center in 1987. He received his MBA from Zicklin School of Business in 2003. Dr. Levite is an attending physician in the cardiac catheterization laboratories at the New York University and Bellevue Hospital. He is board-certified in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular disease, and internal medicine. He is a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners and a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.

Howard I. Axelrod, MD

Dr. Howard Axelrod came to ARMC from Westchester Medical Center in New York
where he initiated a minimally invasive cardiac surgery program, including minimally
invasive vein harvesting. Dr. Axelrod has extensive experience with Off Pump
Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting. While at Westchester, Dr. Axelrod served on the
faculty of New York Medical College as an Assistant Professor of Surgery. Dr. Axelrod
earned his medical degree at New York University of Medicine. He is a Diplomat of
the National Board of Medical Examiners, a member of the American Board of Surgery
and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery.

Dr. Elnahal completed his fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in 1991 and finished his cardiac pacing fellowship at UMDNJ Beth Israel Medical Center in 1992. He graduated from Cairo University Medical School, Cairo, Egypt, in 1981. Board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and pacing and electrophysiology, Dr. Elnahal is a recipient of the Physician's Recognition Award with Commendation for Self-Directed Learning, a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, and a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Elnahal began at ARMC in the Division of Cardiology after completion of his pacemaker fellowship. He has been Chief of the Division of Cardiology since 2004.

Previously, Dr. Ghaly was Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at UMDNJ and a practicing member of the South Jersey Heart Group. Prior to that, he was a staff member of the Electrophysiology/Pacemaker Department at Deborah Heart and Lung Center and Assistant Director of Arrhythmia Services at MCP-Philadelphia. Dr. Ghaly completed his fellowships in cardiology and electrophysiology at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in 1990. Dr. Ghaly graduated from Ain Shams University School of Medicine, Cairo, Egypt, in 1980. He is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiology, and cardiac electrophysiology and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association Council on clinical Cardiology.

Prior to joining ARMC, Dr. Abrams was Vice-Chairman of the Department of Anesthesiology at Mount Sinai Medical Center, where he held a number of key leadership positions throughout his twelve-year tenure. Dr. Abrams completed his internship and residency in anesthesiology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center. He graduated from Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University, Tel Aviv, Israel, in 1987 and earned his MBA at The Zicklin School of Business in New York City in 1999. An acclaimed lecturer, author, and teacher, Dr. Abrams is a Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiologists and has served on numerous boards, including Secretary of the New York State Society of Anesthesiologists, the Anesthesia Patient Safety Foundation and Committees of the American Society of Anesthesiologists.

Dr. Grossi is the associate director of cardiac research and an associate professor of surgery at New York University's School of Medicine . He is an attending surgeon at New York University Medical Center, Bellevue Hospital Center and at New York Veterans Administration Medical Center. Dr. Grossi is recognized for his pioneering work in minimally invasive cardiac surgery. Dr. Grossi earned his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He completed his internship, residency and research fellowship at New York University Medical Center.
