How are AtlantiCare LIFE Connection services funded?

Funding for this program is made possible through an agreement with the New Jersey Department of Human Services and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

AtlantiCare LIFE Connection staff will review your financial eligibility and assist with the application process.

The LIFE Connection program accepts Medicare, Medicaid and private payment. There are no out-of-pocket charges if you qualify for both Medicare and Medicaid or Medicaid only. For participants who do not qualify for Medicaid, there is a flat monthly fee.  Participants in the LIFE Connection program are only responsible for the cost of care that has not been recommended by the LIFE Connection care team, except for emergency services.

Once participants are enrolled, AtlantiCare LIFE Connection will handle all paperwork and claims for all services provided. Our goal is that cost, transportation or any other concern you may have will never be a barrier to receiving the care you need.
