ARMC is the south region lead agency for the New Jersey Emergency Medical Services Task Force, which includes the seven southern-most counties of the state. Approximately 12 AtlantiCare employees are members of the Task Force.

Raniszewski, who is assistant chief of ARMC EMS, is a Task Force leader. Bell is a state planner. Intessimoni is a staging manager/logistics specialist. Each has attended specialized training in those respective areas. Bell, Intessimoni and Raniszewski will be deployed up to 14 days, functioning under the direction of the New Jersey Department of Health in their specialized roles within the Task Force. They brought with them ARMC’s ASAP (Alternate Support Apparatus), an EMS/medical all-terrain vehicle. The ASAP provides easy maneuverability in rough terrain and areas where typical EMS vehicles cannot travel. They and the broader team will use the ASAP to respond, begin treatment and transport patients to a designated medical care facility or location.
