The post-graduate year one Pharmacy Residency Program at AtlantiCare is accredited by the American Society of Health Systems Pharmacists (ASHP). It consists of 12 months of general training and experience beginning on the third Monday in June. The residency goals, objectives, and evaluation processes are consistent with the accreditation standards developed by ASHP.
The Pharmacy Department is led by the Assistant Vice President of Medicine and Pharmacy Service Lines with support from the Director of Pharmacy Operations, the Director of Clinical Pharmacy and Informatics, the Director of Outpatient Pharmacy and Business Development, and Clinical Pharmacy Specialists. The Pharmacy staff are a tremendous resource consisting of over 35 full time and 15 pool pharmacists as well as approximately 60 technicians.
