Our keynote speaker this year, Vicki Lachman, PhD, APRN, MBE, FAAN, will discuss ethical challenges we face in the era of healthcare reform. 

Brenda Douglass, DNP, APN, RN, CTTS will share her work on the management of tobacco dependency.

Joseph Reilly, PharmD, returns this year by popular request to present current trends in antimicrobial therapy for resistant organisms. 

Matthew Corcoran, MD, from the Joslin Diabetes Center Affiliate at AtlantiCare, will present the newest therapeutic modalities including new medications and technologies such as insulin pumps.

The conference closes with an update on advances in minimally invasive cardiac surgery and the future of revascularization for coronary artery disease. Howard Axelrod, MD, is known for incorporating video of surgical procedures into his interesting presentations.
