The Mainland Campus of AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center opened in Pomona, New Jersey, in 1975. It didn't take long for “Mainland” to become a world-class medical center. Over the years, it has undergone several expansions to keep up with the growing healthcare needs in our community.

Over the last few years, patients, staff, physicians, local employers, residents and visitors have expressed their need for increased capacity and capabilities at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center’s Mainland Campus.
AtlantiCare cut the ribbon on the expansion of ARMC Mainland Campus June 4, 2015 – marking the second phase of the $62.5 million Mainland Modernization Project. The a two-story, 35,000 square foot expansion, which focuses in part on the increased need for surgical services, opened in mid-June.
AtlantiCare has long known that art is beautiful medicine, and through its Healing Arts Program is committed to making art a part of the cure. The most recent expression of that commitment can be seen at its Mainland Extension in Pomona, New Jersey.
