Overview

Infectious Disease Associates (IDA) was first established in July of 1989. The intention was to meet the growing need for primary healthcare required by the HIV-infected population in the area. The expansion of practice hours and hours by appointment provide a private, rather than clinic, atmosphere. This multifaceted program has responded to a community in need and has proven to be a significant benefit to the communities we serve.

IDA is the only hospital-based program of its kind in the region. We specialize in the treatment of HIV/AIDS.

• primary medical and specialty care for HIV patients
• comprehensive case management
• social work services
• mental health counseling
• HIV education and referrals
• bilingual staff
• support groups on site

IDA is funded by the Ryan White Care Act Part B of the NJ Department of Health and Senior Services, Division of AIDS Prevention and Control.

We serve Atlantic and Cape May counties.
