AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center Mainland Auxiliary

If you or someone you love has received care at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, you may have been touched by the generosity and dedication of the Mainland Auxiliary.

For over 35 years, the Auxiliary has supported ARMC through fundraising and volunteer services. In fact, since their founding in 1974, the Mainland Auxiliary has given over $2 Million in donations, medical equipment, medical supplies, clothing, flowers and decorations.

While the numbers are impressive, the impact on the lives of AtlantiCare patients is immeasurable. A volunteer organization, the Mainland Auxiliary is always looking for new members.

Some examples of our work:

1. Purchased and donated the Joie de Vivre statue at the Center for Childbirth
2. Initiated the 1976 Art For Sale program that eventually led to the ARMC Arts on the Walls program and Creative Arts & Healing Program
3. Own and Manage the Pine Cone Gift Shop since its opening in 1975
4. Stock infant car seats for sale at cost for families with a newborn in order to be discharged from the Center for Childbirth
5. Stock breast pumps for new mothers to purchase or rent

1. Supply Coloring Books & Crayons for young children in the waiting rooms and Emergency Department
2. Supply the NICU and Childbirth Center with blankets and hats that are hand-knitted or crocheted
3. Supply Teddy Bears with t-shirt and our logo to be distributed to patients with invasive breast cancer surgery
4. Supply Heart Pillows to the Heart Institute for heart patient surgery
