Both campuses of ARMC have earned the Joint Commission’s Certificate of Distinction for Primary Stroke Centers, a national accreditation for providing advanced stroke treatment in compliance with American Stroke Association designated guidelines that meet strict performance and quality criteria.

ARMC City Campus is licensed by the State of New Jersey as a Comprehensive Stroke Center

AtlantiCare provides primary and comprehensive stroke care. Its physicians provide rapid access to advanced diagnostics and the latest in clot-busting drugs delivered by experts who are trained and experienced in the practice of state-of-the-art techniques.

ARMC’s experienced team diagnoses, prevents and treats stroke with clot-busting medications and advanced minimally invasive technology.

ARMC’s primary care physicians and specialists collaborate with ARMC EMS, and Emergency departments and the AtlantiCare Neurosciences Institute teams to ensure prompt, appropriate treatment for stroke.

ARMC’s biplane angiography suite allows the team to see detailed images of the brain and perform minimally invasive treatments for stroke.

AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center has earned the Gold Seal of Approval™ from The Joint Commission for Primary Stroke Centers. ARMC earned this distinction after the Joint Commission conducted an unannounced on-site review in March.

Additionally, the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services has designated ARMC City Campus, Atlantic City, a comprehensive stroke center, and ARMC Mainland Campus, Pomona, a primary stroke center.
