AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center (ARMC) honored sixteen graduates of its 2014 Internal Medicine Residency and Pharmacy Programs during a ceremony and dinner June 19 at One Atlantic at The Pier at Caesars, Atlantic City, New Jersey. In addition to the honored guests, members of AtlantiCare's leadership team; nursing and medical staffs; and residency program alumni attended the event.

Jose Castaneda, MD; Aloke Chakravarti, MD; Edwin Dominguez, MD; Simit Doshi, MD; Krishna Gali, MD, Thanavut (James) Jiansakul, MD; Benjamin Kaplan, MD; Bhagyashri Navalkele, MD; Agnes Obita, MD; Amit Ray, MD; Jessica Roeske, DO; Nitika Sharma, MD; Sulaiman Sultan, MD.

Pharmacy graduates were Raymond Vuong, PharmD, and Kennara Sok, PharmD.

Jessica Roeske, DO, will join AtlantiCare's Ambulatory Services as an Internal Medicine Teaching attending physician.

About ARMC's Internal Medicine Residency Program

AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center (ARMC) has a dually accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program, accredited by both the ACGME and the AOA. The Internal Medicine residents rotate through AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's two divisions, City Campus and Mainland Campus, and serve both the surrounding communities and more than 37 million visitors to the region each year. In addition to a comprehensive, multi-specialty inpatient and ambulatory care experience, AtlantiCare is home to the Heart Institute, the Neurosciences Institute and the Cancer Care Institute, as well as a Level II Trauma Center, all of which provide a unique educational opportunity for the residents.

About ARMC's Pharmacy Residency Program
The post-graduate year one Pharmacy Residency Program at AtlantiCare is accredited by the American Society of Health Systems Pharmacists (ASHP). It consists of 12 months of general training and experience. The Pharmacy staff is a tremendous resource consisting of more than 35 full time and 15 pool pharmacists as well as approximately 60 technicians. The residency goals, objectives, and evaluation processes are consistent with the accreditation standards developed by ASHP.
