AtlantiCare to hold Pregnancy and Infant Loss
Remembrance Ceremony

In observation of National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day®, the Roger B. Hansen Center for Childbirth at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center Mainland Campus will hold its Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Ceremony Thursday, October 15 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. The ceremony and dinner will take place at the Celebration of Life Walk outside the campus in Pomona, New Jersey. The event will give attendees the opportunity to acknowledge loss by symbolically lighting a candle with others who experienced a perinatal or infant loss.

Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day® is an annual recognition that promotes support, education and awareness for grieving parents nationwide and around the world.

ARMC and AtlantiCare Hospice offer a Perinatal Loss Support Group designed for parents who have experienced miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, stillbirth or newborn death. The group meets the first Thursday of each month from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Gilda’s Room South Jersey at the AtlantiCare Cancer Care Institute, a Fox Chase Cancer Center Partner, 2500 English Creek Avenue, Building 400, Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. The support group is free and open to the community.
