Purpose
The AtlantiCare Nursing Research Council is committed to building, validating and disseminating nursing knowledge. This conference focuses on nursing research and evidence-based practice (EBP) initiatives along with advancing education that support the following objectives.
Objectives
- Identify research techniques that support EBP.
- Increase clinical nurse understanding and participation in research and EBP activities.
- Discuss how nursing research and EBP can be applied in a clinical setting.
- Explore the impact of nursing research in the new healthcare environment.
- Discuss research related to new healthcare delivery models.
- Identify availability of grant funding for nursing research and EBP.
- Explore the relationships between Jean Watson’s Theory of Human Caring, nursing research, EBP and patient outcomes.
