It takes more than medicine to create a healthy community.  Serene art pieces, calming colors, natural light and soothing sounds can soften the high-tech healthcare setting and support the healing process. Numerous studies also show that clinical outcomes can be enhanced by incorporating the healing arts in the clinical environment.

AtlantiCare incorporates the healing arts into all new construction projects. Hundreds of beautiful works of art now hang in The Center for Childbirth and Emergency Department at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's Mainland Campus, the magnificent new George F. Lynn Harmony Pavillion at ARMC's Atlantic City Campus, the AtlantiCare Cancer Care Institute in Egg Harbor Township, and the  AtlantiCare Health Park at Hammonton.

In addition to creating a relaxing visual and auditory experience for our patients and visitors, AtlantiCare's healing arts program gives local artists an opportunity to share their unique talents and cultures. Over 500 exquisite art pieces demonstrate that not only is southern New Jersey home to world-class healthcare, it is home to world-class artists as well.
