Mark Chelder, PhD

Dr. Chelder received his doctoral degree in clinical and school psychology from Hofstra University. He completed a post-doctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology at Drexel University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He holds licenses to practice psychology in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

He is currently the clinical coordinator of the Neuropsychology and Brain Injury Programs at Bacharach Institute for Rehabilitation in Pomona, NJ. Dr. Chelder is also on the Medical Staff at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, where he provides neuropsychological assessment and treatment to acute care medical and trauma patients.

Dr. Chelder also maintains a private psychological practice with a specialty in Neuropsychology. He has lectured on neuropsychology, traumatic brain injury, and professional issues in rehabilitation. He has appeared on Comcast Newsmakers and our local NBC affiliate’s Health Update.

Dr. Chelder is a member of a statewide panel studying the delivery of neuropsychological services to survivors of brain injury.
