Thomas Brabson, DO, MBA, FACOEP, FACEP

Dr. Brabson is medical director of the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center (ARMC) City Campus Emergency Center and medical director of ARMC Emergency Medical Services (EMS). Brabson is co-chairman of ARMC’s Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee and a member of nine other AtlantiCare committees, including AtlantiCare’s Emergency Preparedness Committee.

Dr. Brabson is president of the American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians (ACOEP). He has served on the Board of Directors of the ACOEP since 2001, and has held the positions of president-elect, secretary and treasurer.

Dr. Brabson is an associate professor for the Department of Emergency Medicine at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and was an assistant professor, Department of Surgery, Thomas Jefferson University School of Medicine, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

He was previously an attending physician in the Department of Medicine at Albert Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Delaware County Memorial Hospital in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania and Graduate Hospital, City Avenue Campus, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Brabson is Board-certified in emergency medicine and holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in emergency medical services. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He attained his Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science degrees at St. Joseph’s University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Brabson did a fellowship in emergency medical services and his residency in emergency medicine at Albert Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He did a rotating internship at St. Joseph’s Hospital, also in Philadelphia.
