Dr. Alexander Axelrad, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Axelrad is the current Medical Director of Trauma at the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center and the founder of the Trauma Symposium. He rejoined us from Cooper University Hospital where he served as a Trauma Surgeon/Intensivist as well as director for the Surgical Critical Care Fellowship Program. Dr. Axelrad is currently certified by the American Board of Surgery with a subspecialty in Critical care. He has recently been recognized by the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School for with an excellence in teaching award.

He has lectured at numerous conferences, and authored several published articles.
