| Manish Tandon, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Manish received his B.S. from Pennsylvania State University and his M.D. from Jefferson Medical College. He then did his general surgery residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ – Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center. He went the Shock Trauma Center of the University of Maryland as a fellow and then junior attending in Trauma and Critical Care, where he developed an interest in advanced modalities in the support of severe respiratory failure, including APRV, prone positioning, and adult ECMO. While continuing his interests at Yale University, he also obtained his MBA from the Yale School of Management with a concentration in strategy.
Manish is currently Associate Director of Surgery at Hartford Hospital, where he is also the Director for Patient Safety and Quality in Surgery and the site director for the University of Connecticut integrated surgical residency program. His clinical practice is in Surgical Critical Care, General Surgery, and Trauma Surgery.
