Sergio Zanotti, M.D.
Sergio Zanotti, M.D. is an attending physician in the Division of Critical Care Medicine at Cooper University Hospital, Camden, New Jersey, and an Assistant Professor of Medicine, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School/ University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.

A graduate of Universidad Nacional De Asuncion, Dr. Zanotti completed his medical residency and a fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Critical Care Medicine.

Dr. Zanotti is the Associate Director of the Critical Care Medicine Fellowship Program and has been appointed as a master educator for the Division of Critical Care Medicine. He has received multiple accolades as an educator, include the UMDNJ Robert Wood Johnson Medical School Excellence in Teaching Award.

In addition to clinical responsibilities, Dr. Zanotti is a prolific researcher, lecturer, and author. He is a reviewer for Critical Care Medicine, the premiere journal in the field, and is affiliated with the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the American College of Chest Physicians. Dr. Zanotti’s researcher interests include sepsis, septic shock, early goal directed therapy in shock, and management of the critically ill patient.
