Course Objective

The Harrah’s Trauma Center at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center welcomes
you to attend our 10th Annual Trauma Symposium. This conference will take
place again at the Atlantic City Convention Center May 5-7, 2008. This year’s
conference is designed to discuss current trends and medical practices in trauma
care, critical care and emergency medicine. The highlights of the conference
will include presentations on trauma specialty populations that include geriatric,
obese, obstetrical and pediatric patients as well as a new track devoted to
critical care medicine. The symposium offers an excellent educational
opportunity for physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, Pre-hospital Advance
Life Support and other allied health care providers whose expertise and
interests are in these areas. At the conclusion of the symposium the participants
should be able to discuss and debate the most current trends in trauma care,
critical care and emergency medicine.
