Maternal Health Awareness Day, observed on January 23, highlights critical maternal health issues, including preventable deaths, disparities in care and the need for improved postpartum and mental health support—particularly for Black and Indigenous mothers. In recognition of this important day, AtlantiCare will host Maternal Health Community Engagement Events on January 22, 2026, offering opportunities for education, connection, and support.
