Medical Staff Office (MSO)
The credentialing & clinical privileging functions of AtlantiCare are supported by the Health System’s Medical Staff Office. The MSO supports AtlantiCare’s ongoing compliance with legal, professional and accreditation requirements promulgated by public agencies and private organizations, including but not limited to federal and state regulations, the Joint Commission, and NCQA accreditation standards.
Our team provides a wide range of services, including Credentialing & Recredentialing, Privileging, MS Governance Support, and Provider Onboarding support in collaboration with HR, IT, and other departments. Accurate and timely credentialing not only meets regulatory requirement, it also ensures that every provider delivering care to our patients is fully qualified and properly authorized. We are proud to be a central part of maintaining safety, trust, and excellence in care.
