Housing Efforts
Housing is a critical foundation for health, stability, and longevity—shaping physical and mental well-being, employment, and community connection. In response to rising homelessness in Atlantic County, AtlantiCare offers housing counseling through the NJ FamilyCare Housing Supports Program, helping Medicaid members find and maintain stable housing.
Beyond direct support for individuals facing housing insecurity, AtlantiCare is also advancing broader efforts to strengthen housing access and stability. These include AtlantiCare Team Member Down Payment Assistance, Housing Rehabilitation and Homeownership initiatives, and targeted strategies to reduce homelessness across the region. Together, these programs reflect a holistic commitment to building healthier, more resilient communities.
