Education: Programs and Curriculums for grades K-8
Changes in You: You Are Not Alone (grades 2-6)
Major events of puberty, basic reproductive system anatomy, self-esteem and proper hygiene will be discussed.
Girl Talk 1/Boy Talk 1 (grades 2-6)
This is a gender-specific version of “Changes in You.”
Teen Talk (grades 7-8)
Review of changes occurring during puberty; abstinence-focused program, touching on the responsibility of being sexually active.
Girl Talk 2/Boy Talk 2 (grades 7-8)
This is a gender-specific version of “Teen Talk.”
It’s a Date! (8th grade)
This presentation will include characteristics of healthy vs. unhealthy relationships, setting boundaries/being assertive, consent, abstinence/responsible sexual behavior, social media and dating violence.
Puberty (girls and a trusted adult)
This program covers hygiene, the reproductive system and stages of human development basics, and the major events during puberty.

This program covers hygiene, the reproductive system and stages of human development basics, and the major events during puberty.
Let’s Have the Talk (adolescent and a trusted adult)
This program covers the content from “Teen Talk” and encourages comfortable, ongoing conversations between the adolescent and trusted adult.
Responsible Sexual Behavior and Reproductive Health Education (grades 9-12 and adults)
This presentation touches on making healthy lifestyle choices, the benefits of abstinence and the responsibilities that come with being sexually active. Pregnancy statistics/effectiveness of various birth control methods and sexually transmitted diseases are covered. Healthy vs. unhealthy relationships will be discussed. Parents will be given tips for talking to their teen.
Family Planning and Self-Care (adolescents and adults)
Covers AtlantiCare’s family planning services; overview of mental, social and physical health; responsible sexual behavior; and preventive screening recommendations by age.
AtlantiCare’s Family Planning Program (general audience)
Introduction/overview to raise awareness of our clinic’s purpose and need. This presentation covers the specifics of our program, staff and services.
