Female Reproductive Health
Every woman deserves the best.
Reproductive health is about more than pregnancy and planning. We’ll help you in caring for your sexual health and reproductive system.
Sexual Health Counseling and Education
We offer a series of programs as well as opportunities for one-on-one sessions to help educate patients of all ages about their sexual health. Topics include body changes and functions, safe sexual behaviors, relationships, human development, family planning, mental and social health, how sexual health impacts general health and well-being, and more.
Routine Gynecological Exams and Pap Tests
Performed by a trustworthy certified specialist, an annual gynecological exam is a cornerstone of preventive healthcare for women. Our providers are trained in caring for women of all ages, and based on the results of these exams, can address any changes or issues and make recommendations across the spectrum of your sexual, reproductive and pelvic health. And Pap tests can help detect cervical cancer early, giving you a greater chance for successful treatment.
Birth Control
There are many ways to maintain a safe, healthy sex life with low risk of unplanned pregnancy. We’ll help you choose one that works for your wants and needs, while keeping in mind any other health concerns you might have. Some of these methods can also be used to control hormonal or other issues — not just for contraception.
STI Screening and Treatment
If you are sexually active, especially if you’ve recently become active with a new partner or partners, you should make a habit of getting screened for sexually transmitted infections. And if we do discover that you’ve acquired one, our team will take a compassionate and judgment-free approach to proper treatment. All STI’s can be treated and most can be cured.
HPV Vaccine
The human papillomavirus is a type of sexually transmitted infection that can cause various cancers, most often cervical cancer in women and oral (oropharyngeal) cancers in men. The HPV vaccine makes you immune to the virus and therefore far less likely to develop cervical cancer — as most cases of cervical cancer result from an exposure to HPV. Your provider can help you determine whether the HPV vaccine is right for you.
Family Planning is for Men Too
We’re here to look after your partner’s reproductive needs.
Many of our offerings for women can be equally beneficial to men, including sexual health counseling and education, STI screenings and treatment, and the HPV vaccine (in men, the virus can cause genital warts and various cancers of the pelvic region).
