Family Medicine Residency Program

Welcome to Atlanticare's Family Medicine Residency Program

Welcome to the AtlantiCare Family Medicine Residency Program! We are a 4-4-4 training program located in the heart of Atlantic City. We have 2 hospital campuses that you will rotate through, but the bulk of your inpatient experience will be at our City campus in Atlantic City. Our continuity clinic, which is an FQHC, is located across the street from our City campus. Over the course of your three years of training you will have exposure to patients from all different social, cultural, ethnic and economic backgrounds with a plethora of diverse medical needs. This varied exposure will prepare you to care for any patient who may walk through your door in your future practice.

This is a unique opportunity to join our Family Medicine Residency team – a chance to draw on your own creativity and experiences as we work together to care for our patients. Innovation is a core value of our organization, and you will have the opportunity to be involved in an innovative educational program. We offer original approaches to residency training in a collaborative environment to provide you with the tools, skills and experiences to be an outstanding family physician, patient advocate and leader – in our hospital, our community, and beyond.

AtlantiCare is committed to Graduate Medical Education and as such you will have the opportunity to work in many interdisciplinary teams including working with residents, fellows and faculty of our other programs. Medicine has become a team sport and learning to lead and work on high functioning patient care teams is integral to becoming a successful family medicine physician.

Southern New Jersey is a wonderful place to train and work. We have many wonderful beaches in the area and opportunities for outdoor activities. There are many excellent entertainment options in the area and Philadelphia and New York City are only a short drive away.

The faculty and I have a passion for family medicine and for training the next generation of highly skilled family physicians who will care for their community with compassion. Please explore our website to find out about all we have to offer.

Sincerely,
