Medical Student Rotations
Medical Student Rotations at AtlantiCare
AtlantiCare offers clinical rotation opportunities for third and fourth year medical students.
Elective and Sub-Internship Rotations
Elective and Sub-Internship (Sub-I) rotations are available based on preceptor availability, departmental approval, and educational capacity.
AtlantiCare welcomes rotation requests from students attending both affiliated and non-affiliated medical schools. All requests are reviewed individually and are subject to availability and institutional requirements.
Students are strongly encouraged to submit rotation requests well in advance of their desired rotation dates to allow sufficient time for scheduling, departmental review, affiliation agreements (if needed), onboarding, and completion of all institutional requirements.

Scheduling and Approval
All rotation requests must be submitted in writing to the Medical Student Coordinators directly and are subject to departmental review and approval.
Submission of a request does not guarantee placement. Approved rotations are contingent upon preceptor availability and completion of all required onboarding, affiliation, and compliance requirements. Rotation schedules are subject to modification based on departmental and operational needs.
