About this event

Atrial fibrillation (AFib) is a common heart rhythm condition that can affect overall health and quality of life. Join Dr. Devender N. Akula, board-certified cardiac electrophysiologist with AtlantiCare Physician Group, for an educational community lecture focused on understanding AFib and today’s treatment options.

Dr. Akula will discuss common symptoms, how atrial fibrillation is diagnosed, and recent advances in treatment—including medications, lifestyle considerations, and minimally invasive procedures that can help manage symptoms and reduce stroke risk.
