On average, the process takes two to three weeks once all requirements are submitted and completed.

Shifts are available mornings, afternoons and evenings, seven days a week. A variety of opportunities and schedules are offered to fit your availability.

 All volunteer roles are non-clinical. Volunteers do not provide medical care or participate in clinical procedures.

Volunteer positions do not include shadowing, internships or clinical training. The focus is on supporting nonclinical hospital services.

Volunteers are asked to commit four hours per week for at least one year to ensure consistency and meaningful impact.

We match your skills and interests with available opportunities whenever possible, while also meeting the needs of the hospital.  

Applicants must meet age requirements, complete a background check and adhere to health and safety screenings.

Volunteers receive orientation, training and ongoing guidance from our team to ensure a positive and rewarding experience.

Flexibility is considered based on volunteer availability and hospital needs. We encourage communication with the Volunteer Services team for any scheduling concerns.
