2025-2026 Program Offerings

Healthy Schools, Healthy Children fosters a network of support. Partner schools develop action plans and determine the most effective learning tools and practices. From program kits and classroom presentations to staff workshops and incentives, we can provide a variety of tools to our partnering schools for their wellness initiatives.

What We Can Provide:

 

  • 2025-2026 Program Offerings: A complete list of our programs, services, and incentives available to partnering schools.
  • 2025-2026 Healthy Schools Presentations: A variety of presentations available for students, school staff and/or families.
  • 2025-2026 Turn Your School Wellness Into Wealth: Our innovative month-to-month menu of health and wellness activities that schools can engage in while earning incentive points that amount to a monetary prize.
  • School Wellness Stipend Request: Every year, our partner schools host their own creative school-wide events and AtlantiCare Healthy Schools wants to support your efforts with a stipend of up to $200.
  • Chefs in the Classroom: Our team, along with Chef Shara, and our partner from Happy Heart Corner, will visit your school for an in-person healthy cooking demonstration and tasting.
  • Fit Kids, Fit Families: In-person physical activity program to encourage kids and families to lead an active lifestyle
  • Student Wellness Programs: Walking challenges, monthly fun runs, mileage club, pack-a-snack kits, and more
  • Staff Wellness Challenges: Programs to engage school staff in improving their own wellness and school climate and culture overall
  • Professional Development: Staff workshops presentations, and activities to boost staff engagement and wellness both in the classroom and beyond.
  • Steering Committee Meetings: Virtual or in-person meetings held throughout the school year to share information, programming and resources.
  • Health & P.E. Workshop: K-12 health & physical education teachers come to learn new activities to keep students active and mastering content.
  • Nurse Lecture Series: A series of 3 workshops held throughout the school year to address relevant topics for school nurses.
