Youth Programming

Building Healthy Futures from the Start

At AtlantiCare, we believe that lifelong wellness begins in childhood. That’s why our programs for youth are designed to support children and teens at every stage of development—physically, emotionally, and socially.

Early childhood is a critical time for brain development, social skills, and healthy habits. Our Pre-K program, in partnership with Pleasantville School District focuses on nurturing young minds through play-based learning, nutrition education, and movement activities that lay the foundation for a lifetime of good health.

Children ages 3 to 5 years old are eligible for the program.

For many families, the hours before and after school can be a challenge. Our After Care program, in partnership with the Pleasantville School District, provides structured, enriching environments where children can stay active and engage in creative and social activities. These program help reduce stress, promote physical activity, and support emotional well-being. It is available at all Pleasantville elementary schools which are Leeds Ave, North Main, South Main, Washington and AtlantiCare Kids 810 S Main street.

Adolescence is a time of rapid change—and teens need safe, supportive spaces to thrive. Our Teen Centers, located in Oakcrest Hugh School, Atlantic City High School and Buena Middle and High School offer health education, peer support, and access to mental health resources. These hubs empower students to make informed choices and build resilience during a pivotal time in their lives.

For our dedicated AtlantiCare team members, we offer childcare to support work-life balance and provide peace of mind while we care for our community. We have partnered with LCG and are looking forward to opening January 2026. More information will come soon!

Together, these programs form a comprehensive approach to youth health—because when we invest in kids today, we build stronger, healthier communities tomorrow.
