Nearly 200 guests gathered on December 3 at The Carriage House in Galloway for the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center (ARMC) Mainland Campus Auxiliary’s 43rd Annual Holly Day Luncheon. The annual event has become one of the Auxiliary’s hallmark traditions, bringing together volunteers, community and AtlantiCare team members to celebrate a year of service.

Auxiliary President Linda Stanton, a long-time supporter of AtlantiCare and the community, welcomed attendees and reflected on the group’s impact. Since 1974, the Mainland Auxiliary has raised more than $3 million for ARMC Mainland Campus, funding upgrades to patient spaces, medical equipment, supplies, team member education and small comforts for patients and their families.

This year’s luncheon featured the Auxiliary’s annual “granting of wishes,” one of the most anticipated moments of the event. Auxiliary members announced a $50,000 gift for the AtlantiCare Department of Public Safety and added a second, unexpected check for $100,000. The combined $150,000 will support the purchase of an enhanced surveillance trailer and safety equipment in 2026.

AtlantiCare’s Department of Public Safety includes an armed division of retired law enforcement officers from Ocean City, Egg Harbor Township, Galloway Township and nearby communities. They support operations at the Mainland and Atlantic City campuses on foot and in patrol vehicles, using their years of law enforcement experience to help maintain a safe environment for team members, patients and visitors.

Fifteen volunteers keep the Pine Cone Gift Shop at the Mainland Campus running and support the Auxiliary’s fundraising work throughout the year. That commitment was reflected this past Veterans Day when, in partnership with the South Jersey Chapter of Rolling Thunder, the Auxiliary helped bring a flagpole and “Chair of Honor” to ARMC Atlantic City Campus to recognize POW-MIA service members. The partners plan to install a second set at ARMC Mainland Campus in 2026. These contributions continue to strengthen the daily experience of care at ARMC Mainland Campus.
