About Colorectal Cancer
Colorectal cancer is a type of gastrointestinal cancer that usually begins as a growth, called a polyp, on the inner lining of the colon or rectum. Some types of polyps can change into cancer over the course of 10-15 years, but not all polyps become cancer.
More than 95% of colorectal cancers are known as adenocarcinoma, though the symptoms are often silent until the disease has progressed. Regular screenings can help catch polyps before they become cancer or in the earliest stages of the disease when it’s highly treatable.
Prevention & Detection
If you’re 45 or older, or have a family history of colorectal cancer, regular screenings are your first and most powerful weapon. We offer a full range of colorectal screening options, including colonoscopy, which has shown to reduce colorectal cancer deaths by more than 60%.
Schedule your colonoscopy today. It’s fast, painless and can help prevent polyps from ever becoming cancer.
Personalized Treatment Plans
Most polyps do not become cancer, but if you’re diagnosed, rest assured you’re in skilled and caring hands. Our team of gastroenterologists, oncologists, specialty-trained nurses
