AtlantiCare is proud to announce that Jordan Ruch, Chief Information Officer, has been named one of Becker’s “Top CIOs to Know in 2025”
This national recognition reflects Ruch’s leadership in one of the most ambitious digital transformation efforts in healthcare. He is guiding AtlantiCare through the implementation of AtlantiCare Powered by Oracle, a systemwide integration of Oracle Health’s Electronic Health Record and Enterprise Resource Planning platforms. Once complete, AtlantiCare is expected to be the first health system in the world to unify its clinical and business systems on a single Oracle platform.
“Jordan’s visionary leadership has shaped one of the most complex and progressive transformations we have ever taken on at AtlantiCare. He brings clarity to uncharted territory, blending strategy with precision execution to drive complex work,” said Michael Charlton, President and CEO of AtlantiCare. “Jordan inspires through action and is a trusted leader who is respected by his team and peers for staying grounded in the work and focused on the people driving it. This recognition from Becker’s reflects the real impact he’s had in the industry and the leadership he brings to our organization.”
Ruch successfully launched AtlantiCare’s early adoption of Oracle’s generative Clinical AI Agent, which relieves the administrative burden so that providers have more time to spend with patients and less time on documentation. Since launching the pilot, AtlantiCare has seen a 42% reduction in documentation time, saving an average of 66 minutes per day per provider.
These innovations directly support AtlantiCare’s Vision 2030 strategy to expand access, improve outcomes, and make care more equitable across southeastern New Jersey.
