State of New Jersey Designations

STEMI Center

The Heart & Lung Institute at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center has been designated by the State of New Jersey as a STEMI-receiving enter, and is the only provider in the region with this distinction. That means we provide the highest level of emergency cardiac care, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to treat ST segment elevation myocardial infarctions—the most serious type of heart attack.
